I’m not suggesting a French or Russian style revolution, but a democratic one, starting at the ballot box by putting Classic Liberals into government. It will then ensure a major overhaul of our entire system of government.
Why, because we (as a nation) are fed up, up to the eyeballs, with corruption, incompetence, deceit and abuse of power. We see it in every arm of government – legislative, executive and judiciary. And we want every corrupt and incompetent public servant, politician and judge held to account – and held to account by the people, not by some or other corrupt judge.
And I say to all those miscreants, be afraid, very afraid. Start preparing for early retirement or a career well away from government and prepare for your incarceration. We’re coming for you!
And those public officials who are shown not to have adhered to the core values society expects them to adhere to, such as honesty, fairness, transparency, and so on, we will ensure you are fired and banned from further employment in government. And if your actions caused loss to anyone, you will be held personally responsible for fully compensating them for their loss.
We’ve had enough. The miscreants have abused the authority we gave them. Their time of reckoning is due, long overdue.
We as a people must insist our government is of the people, by the people, for the people. Government’s role is not to rule over us. Those in government clearly think it is. That must change.
The only party that will bring that about is Classic Liberals – so join us, be part of the cure we desperately need.
